On 8 May 2025, the Office of People’s Government of Zhongshan Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing Several Measures for Promoting Foreign Trade Enterprises to Expand Domestic Sales Market in Zhongshan Municipality in 2025” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced that a one-off reward shall be provided for manufacturing and service enterprises that are newly established as independent legal entities or industrial activity units in Zhongshan Municipality and are classified as retail enterprises in 2025 and onward, with an annual retail sales reaching a certain threshold. These Measures shall be effective until 31 December 2025.
