Notice in relation to “Service Measures for the Recognition of Talent and Key Personnel in the Social Work Field in Huangpu District”

The Social Work Department of the Guangzhou Municipal Huangpu District Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to “Service Measures for the Recognition of Talent and Key Personnel in the Social Work Field in Huangpu District”” (“the Notice”) on 14 May 2025. The authorities proposed that individuals who have resided in Huangpu District for over two years, possess significant influence within the community, actively participate in community volunteer services, or contribute ideas to the Citizen Academy are eligible to apply for recognition as outstanding community leaders. Talent recognition will be held annually, with the first year up to 100 individuals and subsequent years up to 50 individuals.
