On 4 June 2025, the Huizhou Municipal Industrial and Information Technology Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing “Action Plan for Accelerating the Innovative Development of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry in Huizhou Municipality (2025-2027)”” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced to promote the coordination of regional development and the advancement of deeper cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics among Shenzhen, Dongguan and Huizhou, including exchanges within industry alliances and academic collaborations.
