On 6 June 2025, the Guangzhou Development Zone Economy and Information Technology Bureau, the Guangzhou Municipal Huangpu District Industry and Information Technology Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing Several Measures for Supporting the High-quality Development of the Intelligent Connected Vehicles and New Energy Vehicles Industry in Guangzhou Development Zone, Huangpu District” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced that for newly mass-produced and launched new energy passenger vehicle, a support of up to RMB 10 million shall be provided for each model according to different categories, with a maximum of RMB 30 million per enterprise per year. These Measures shall be valid for 3 years.
