The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Jiangmen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Evaluation Criteria for Professional Titles of Natural Science Researchers in Guangdong Province” (“the Notice”) on 6 June 2025. The authorities proposed that individuals who have obtained Associate Researcher title for at least five years, have received one or more national science and technology awards, and have led and completed research projects related to their field are eligible to apply for the title of Researcher. The Notice is effective from 15 June 2025 and remain valid for 5 years.
