On 7 June 2025, the Industrial and Information Technology Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing “Administrative Measures for Technology-based Enterprise Incubators by the Industrial and Information Technology Bureau”” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced that each region shall leverage its regional advantages and the development requirements of industrial innovation to guide incubators toward specialization, and to support eligible research institutions, new research and development institutions, investment institutions, and other construction incubators focused on specialized fields, to promote integrated development among large, medium and small-sized enterprises. These Measures shall be effective from 10 July 2025.
