On 13 June 2025, the Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing Action Plan for Accelerating the High-quality Development of Nuclear Medicine Industry in Guangdong Province (2025-2030)” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced to leverage comprehensive medical platforms such as the Nansha Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Medical Centre to attract high-end medical resources from Hong Kong and Macao to carry out demonstration and promotion of nuclear medicine technology and equipment application.
