On 13 June 2025, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (“the authorities”) issued the “Implementation Plan in relation to Further Promote the Standardization Work of Green and Low-carbon in Industry and Information Technology” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced to encourage the development of international cooperation in standardization, promoting the international adoption of advanced domestic standards, and enhancing the internationalization level of green and low-carbon standards in industry and information technology in China.
