The Zhuhai Municipal Medical Security Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Individual Contribution Standards for 2026 Basic Medical Insurance for Urban and Rural Residents in Zhuhai Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 17 June 2025. The authorities proposed that the individual contribution amount for basic medical insurance in 2026 is RMB539 per year for urban and rural residents, and RMB404 per year for students and minors. The annual contribution base for basic medical insurance is RMB67,315.
