On 17 June 2025, the Zhuhai High-tech Developmental Zone Science and Technology Innovation and Industry Development Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Ten Measures for Promoting High-quality Development of the Bio-pharmaceutical and Big Health Industry in Zhuhai High-and-New Technology Zone” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced to support the transformation and implementation of Hong Kong and Macao scientific and technological achievements in Zhuhai Municipality and to promote leading pharmaceutical companies, universities and research institutes to establish innovation centres in the High-and-New Technology Zone. These Measures shall be effective until 31 December 2028.
