On 19 June 2025, the Zhuhai Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology Innovation (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing “Administrative Measures for Engineering and Technology Research Centre in Zhuhai Municipality”” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced that enterprises applying as an engineering centre shall have an operating revenue in the previous year of no less than RMB 20 million, the proportion of research and development expenses to the operating revenue in the previous year must be no less than 5% or no less than RMB 1.5 million. These Measures shall be effective until 19 July 2030.
