On 27 June 2025, the Guangzhou Development Zone Economy and Information Technology Bureau, the Guangzhou Municipal Huangpu District Industry and Information Technology Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing Several Measures for Supporting the High-quality Development of Artificial Intelligence Industry in Guangzhou Development Zone Huangpu District” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced that enterprises that recorded data resources on the balance sheet with an amount exceeding RMB 500,000 for the first time shall be provided with a subsidy based on 30% of the service fee incurred such as data quality evaluation, asset appraisal, and third-party audit, with a maximum subsidy of RMB 100,000 per enterprise. These Measures shall be valid for 3 years.
