The Jiangmen Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to “Administrative Measures for the Withdrawal of Housing Provident Fund in Jiangmen Municipality by the Management Committee of Housing Provident Fund in Jiangmen Municipality”” (“the Notice”) on 30 June 2025. The authorities proposed that employees purchasing self-occupied housing and applying for housing loans may withdraw their housing provident fund within two years after the purchase contract is signed. The withdrawal amount shall not exceed the down payment. The Notice is effective on 1 September 2025 and will be valid until 31 August 2030.
