On 1 July 2025, the Office of Artificial Intelligence Industry in Zhongshan Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing Implementation Rules for Promoting the Innovation Development Policy of the “Artificial Intelligence+” Industry in Zhongshan Municipality” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced that enterprises in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics that are newly recognized as national-level “Single Champion” enterprises and national-level specialised and new “Small Giant” enterprises shall be provided with rewards of up to RMB 3 million and RMB 2 million, respectively. These Measures shall be effective until 31 December 2027.
