The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Zhuhai Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Pilot Program for Direct Recognition of Vocational Skills Level Certificates through Zhuhai-Macao Cooperation” (“the Notice”) on 2 July 2025. The authorities proposed that residents from the Mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan holding electrical or artificial intelligence vocational skills level certificates issued by the Zhuhai Municipal Public Training Centre for High-skilled Talents are eligible to directly apply for vocational skills certificates from the Labour Affairs Bureau of Macao Special Administrative Region. Applicants will be issued a Macao vocational skills certificate upon approval.
