The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Taxation Administration (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Receiving Personal Pensions” (“the Notice”) on 13 July 2025. The authorities proposed that individuals who reach the age for receiving basic pensions, settle abroad, completely lose the working capacity, or are currently receiving urban and rural minimum living allowance are eligible to receive their personal pensions monthly, in instalments, or as a lump sum. The Notice is effective on 1 September 2025.
