The Human Resources Bureau of Longhua District in Shenzhen Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to Administrative Measures on Introducing and Training Craftsman in Longhua District of Shenzhen Municipality” (“the Notice”) on 18 July 2025. The authorities proposed that individuals who have worked for more than three years in frontline skilled positions in production, transportation or service industries, are employed full-time in Longhua District, have signed a labour contract for more than three years with their employer, and have settled individual income tax and social insurance for over six months in Longhua District are eligible for craftsman recognition. The Notice is effective on 17 August 2025 and valid for 5 years.
