The Education and Sports Bureau of Zhongshan Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to ‘Administrative Measures for the Special Funds for the Teacher Developing Project by the Education and Sports Bureau of Zhongshan Municipality’” (“the Notice”) on 28 July 2025. The authorities proposed to carry out training programs for primary and secondary school teachers and provide special funds for activities such as centralized training, further study visits and research projects. The training fees for centralized training will adhere to a fixed standard, with a maximum of RMB550 per person per day. The Notice is effective until 31 December 2030.
