On 26 August 2025, the Dongguan Municipal Industrial and Information Technology Bureau (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice of Issuing “Interim Administrative Measures for the Recognition of Municipal Manufacturing Innovation Centres in Dongguan Municipality”” (“the Measures”). The authorities announced that newly purchased research and development instruments and equipment of business entity registered under the municipal-level manufacturing innovation centres shall be provided with post-purchase rewards. These Measures shall be effective from 1 October 2025 and valid until 30 September 2028.
