HK and Guangzhou sign framework agreement related to co-operation on agricultural project in Greater Bay Area

The Under Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Chui Tak-yi (front row, second left); the deputy director of the Guangzhou Customs District, Mr Yang Guohai (front row, second right); the Controller of the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, Dr Ho Yuk-yin (front row, first left); and the director of the Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Guangzhou Municipality, Mr Yuan Guiyang (front row, first right), today (May 9) signed a framework agreement on the establishment of a joint meeting mechanism between Guangzhou and Hong Kong in relation to an agricultural project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the General Administration of Customs, the Guangdong Provincial Government, the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, the Guangzhou Municipal Government, the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Guangzhou Municipal Committee witnessed the signing of the agreement.
