Under the Guangdong (GD) Scheme, Hong Kong elderly persons residing in GD (including the nine Mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area) can receive Old Age Allowance or Old Age Living Allowance according to their circumstances. They are not required to return to Hong Kong during receipt of allowance.
