The HKSAR Government purchases residential care services from the Mainland residential care homes for the elderly (RCHEs) participating in the Scheme. Elderly persons waitlisted for subsidised care-and-attention places or nursing home places may opt for such RCHEs. The Government fully subsidises the home fees of elderly persons.
