The HKSAR Government continues to enhance Hong Kong’s copyright regime. Following the implementation of the Copyright (Amendment) Ordinance 2022 in May 2023 to strengthen copyright protection in the digital environment, the HKSAR Government is exploring further enhancement of the Copyright Ordinance regarding the protection for artificial intelligence technology development.
