Co-operation with Zhuhai Airport
To facilitate the development of a world-class airport cluster in the GBA, under the witness of the HKSAR Government and the Zhuhai Municipal Government, the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) signed an agreement with the Zhuhai Transportation Holdings Group in November 2024 to implement AAHK’s acquisition of the shares of Zhuhai Airport, thereby combining Hong Kong International Airport’s edge in its international aviation network and Zhuhai Airport’s expanding domestic aviation network in the Mainland, as well as enhancing the connections between the two airports in terms of passenger and cargo transport.
