Cross-boundary Use of Electronic Health Records
The new functions of “Cross-boundary Health Record” and “Personal Folder” in the eHealth App were launched at the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital and seven medical institutions under the Elderly Health Care Voucher GBA Pilot Scheme in 2024, to enhance the continuity of medical care for Hong Kong citizens through facilitating their secure use of electronic health records across the boundary.
