Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (non-Chinese Citizens)
Since July 2024, the Mainland authorities have been issuing the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (Non-Chinese Citizens) to non-Chinese Hong Kong permanent residents. This measure is not limited to any nationality. It allows holders to make multiple trips to and from the Mainland within the five-year validity period, and enjoy self-service clearance at control points of the Mainland, without the need to fill in entry record card. It greatly enhances efficiency of immigration clearance and enables foreign talents in Hong Kong to grasp the opportunities arising from the rapid development of the country.
