Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Co-operation Zone
The Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Co-operation Zone, located on the two sides of the Shenzhen River, is established under the vision of “one river, two banks” and “one zone, two parks”. It consists of the Hong Kong Park and the Shenzhen Park. In September 2021, the governments of Hong Kong and Shenzhen signed the “Co-operation Arrangement on the Establishment of ‘One Zone, Two Parks’ in the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Co-operation Zone at the Lok Ma Chau Loop”, setting out the direction of co-operation. The Shenzhen Branch of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation in the Shenzhen Park, has officially commenced operation in September 2023, allowing innovation and technology institutes and enterprises in Hong Kong that are interested in starting business in the GBA to move in before the commissioning of Hong Kong Park.
