Hong Kong has a robust legal system and a solid foundation of the rule of law. Under “One Country, Two Systems”, Hong Kong retains the common law system. Being the only common law jurisdiction in China, Hong Kong will continue to safeguard the foundation of “one country” and leverage the strengths of “two systems” in reinforcing its status as a leading centre for international legal and dispute resolution.
