Exchange and Collaboration between Medical Institutions

The Health Commission of Guangdong Province and the Hospital Authority (HA) signed a memorandum of understanding in 2007 to establish friendly co-operation relationship. 　The HA, through the “GBA Healthcare Talents Visiting Programmes” since 2022 which cover various clinical professions such as doctors, nurses, Chinese medicine practitioners and allied health professionals, etc., has deepened talent exchanges, mutual visits and training, and promoted the development of public healthcare services in the Mainland and Hong Kong. Besides, the development of Hong Kong’s private healthcare facilities in the Mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area can enhance the overall standard of healthcare services through professional exchanges and meet the medical needs of residents in the region.
