Manpower Training

Foundational medical training: The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The University of Hong Kong opened in 2021/planned to establish medical schools in Shenzhen to provide medical training programmes in Shenzhen.
Medical specialist training: The Hong Kong Academy of Medicine will continue to explore the establishment of specialist training system and provide train-the-trainer sessions in Shenzhen through its Shenzhen-Hong Kong Medical Specialist Training Centre, with a view to enabling Hong Kong’s healthcare sector to take the lead in innovation and foster collaboration within the GBA.
