Overseas Publicity and Promotion
In the second half of 2024, the Office has continued to conduct overseas duty visits and collaborate with the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices as well as partnering organisations overseas, so as to further promote Hong Kong's important role as the best dual platform for "going global and attracting foreign investment" in the Greater Bay Area.

The Commissioner for the Development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (the Commissioner), Ms Maisie Chan, visited Seoul, Korea, to introduce the vibrant development and business opportunities of the Greater Bay Area in various areas, and to encourage Korean enterprises and talents to leverage Hong Kong's roles as a "super connector" and a "super value-adder" between the Mainland and the rest of the world for tapping the huge Greater Bay Area and Mainland markets through Hong Kong. The Commissioner also called on local government officials, visited a number of innovation and technology enterprises, and met with various chambers of commerce and industry associations to learn about the latest developments in Korea, and to foster further exchanges and collaboration between the two places on various fronts.
