The Head of the Promotion Centre, Mr Danny Lau, visited the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base in Tianhe District of Guangzhou to understand how the Base provides one-stop innovation and entrepreneurship services for young people from Hong Kong and Macao. He also encouraged the young people of Hong Kong to contribute their best to serve the need of the Greater Bay Area.


The Office and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council co-organised the "GoGBA Sector Series: GoGBA Seminar for Legal Sector" to explore how talents and enterprises of the legal services in Hong Kong can contribute to and benefit from the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area, and make good use of the facilitation policies and measures provided by different cities of the Greater Bay Area to develop their businesses in the region. Small group advisory workshops and one-on-one consultation services were also arranged at the seminar, where experts answered questions and offered practical advice on the development of Hong Kong's legal profession in the Mainland cities of the Greater Bay Area.



The Office and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council co-organised the "GoGBA Business Mission for Accounting Sector", during which representatives of Hong Kong accounting enterprises and professionals visited Shenzhen to learn about the latest developments in Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area from multiple perspectives. Through exchange sessions and site visits, members of the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the business environment of the local accounting sector and the latest policies, and established networks with relevant government officials as well as representatives from chambers of commerce and enterprises, thereby laying an important foundation for the sector to further explore the Greater Bay Area market.





The Office, the Hong Kong Brand Development Council and the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong co-organised the "Hong Kong • IN • Brand Greater Bay" luncheon seminar in Guangzhou. The luncheon seminar, attended by representatives from Hong Kong and Mainland enterprises and chambers of commerce, focused on exploring business strategies to enhance the collective image and market influence of Hong Kong brands, and to inculcate Hong Kong brand culture into the consumers and industries in the Greater Bay Area.




The Promotion Centre organised a gathering for Hong Kong people and enterprises in Guangzhou, exploring the opportunities brought about by Greater Bay Area development with Hong Kong people and enterprises in Guangdong, and learning more about their living, working and business conditions in the Greater Bay Area.




The Promotion Centre held a luncheon sharing session on Start-ups and Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) in Guangzhou, providing start-ups with the latest information on ESG development and trends, assisting start-ups in formulating ESG policies, and promoting sustainable business development.
