On 5 November 2018, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province announced implementation of the "separation of business license and permit" reform for auction businesses. Administrations of commerce in all municipals and cities shall no longer require applicants to submit office property certificates or office rental contracts when accepting application for or amendment of auction business licenses. The approval time limit is shortened to 15 working days. The examination and approval procedures, acceptance conditions and administrative standards would be published on the Guangdong Administrative Services website.
