The State Administration of Taxation issued the above notice on 28 December 2018. Taxpayers are not required to provide their resident identity proof when applying for individual income tax exemption on foreigners' living expenses or local and overseas travelling subsidies. Instead, they can directly fill in their taxpayer basic information and tax reduction/exemption information directly on the application form.
