The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Commerce jointly issued the “Encouraged Industry Catalogue for Foreign Investment (2019 Version)” (hereinafter referred to as the “2019 Encouraged Catalogue") on 30 June 2019, the 2019 Encouraged Catalogue further widened and revised the scope for foreign investment, with a focus on encouraging foreign participation in different investment sectors.
The 2019 Encouraged Catalogue shall come into force on 30 July 2019, and the “Industry Catalogue Guide for Foreign Investment (2017 Revised Version)” and the “Preferential Industry Catalogue for Foreign Investment in Central and Western Regions (2017 Revised Version)” will be abolished at the same time.
