The Office of the People's Government of Zhuhai has issued implementation opinions on accelerating the development of modern logistics industry on 23 March 2020. The opinions formulated 16 specific measures from 3 key tasks, including the promoting of Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macao logistics cooperation development, enhancing the overall strength of logistics development and grasping the special construction of logistics development. The opinions propose to use the drainage effect of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge to promote the logistics companies in the 3 cities to achieve “Resource Sharing, Win-win Cooperation”. In addition, through the cooperation between Hengqin and Macao to build a China-Latin American economic and trade cooperation platform and to build international trade channels in the Mainland and related areas along the “Belt and Road” initiatives. The opinions also improve the level of logistics development in the fields of land, sea, air and rail, etc., strengthen the introduction of logistics projects and encourage enterprises in Zhuhai to cooperate with domestic and foreign logistics companies.
