The National Immigration Administration announced that in order to facilitate Hong Kong and Macao residents (“residents”) to work and study in the Chinese Mainland, the residents can apply for renewal and reissuance of the Hong Kong and Macao Residents Entry and Exit Permits (“Home Return Permits”) in the Chinese Mainland starting from 10 October 2020. The application procedures are same as those in Hong Kong and Macao.
