The Guangzhou Provincial Tax Service, State Taxation Administration (“the Authority”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Issuance of the Guidelines for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Residents Participating in the Pension, Work-related Injury Insurance and Employment Insurance Schemes in the Guangdong Province (“the Guidelines”) ” on 14 September 2021. The Authority attached 4 Guidelines as well as application forms and specified information such as the details of application targets, application methods, application documents, handling procedures and timeline. The Guidelines are effective from 1 October 2021.
