On 25 July 2022, the Administrative Committee of Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone issued the “Various Measures for Promoting the Development of the Integrated Circuit Industry in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone”. It proposes 12 specific measures in 4 aspects: supporting the development of enterprises; encouraging the introduction and nurturing of talents; supporting the construction of cooperation platforms; and promoting the collaborative innovation between Guangdong and Macao. Among them, specific measures include offering support for establishment of enterprises, support for office housing, support for research, development and innovation from enterprises, support for the introduction and nurturing of talents, etc. These measures were implemented from 1 Janauary 2022, and will be valid until 31 December 2024.
