On 5 August 2022, the Commerce Bureau of the Guangzhou Nansha Economic and Technological Development Zone issued the “Detailed Implementation Rules on Policy Measures for Establishing a Demonstration Zone to Promote Import Trades and Innovations in the Nansha District of Guangzhou”. The implementation rules have a total of 30 articles, which covers general provisions, 9 chapters of detailed policy measures, procedures to apply for redemption, supervision and inspection, etc. Among them, specific rewards include introducing the chain supplement award, ‘stronger-for-better' award, and award for key categories for imports. The implementation rules came into effect from the date of issuance, and awards shall be given to eligible enterprises from 2021 to 2023, which will be valid until 6 December 2024.
