The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of the Huizhou Municipality ("the authorities") issued the "Implementation Measures in relation to Issuance of Settlement Subsidies for the Newly Introduced Talents" ("the Implementation Measures") on 25 November 2022. The authorities announced to launch settlement subsidy for newly introduced talents in the Huizhou municipality, including foreign talents and talents from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who come to Huizhou municipality for employment and entrepreneurship. Professional and technical personnel aged under 50 with senior professional titles and met the conditions specified in the Implementation Measures can receive settlement subsidy up to RMB300,000. Professional and technical personnel aged under 45 with professional titles and met the conditions specified in the Implementation Measures can receive one-off settlement subsidy up to RMB10,000. The Implementation Measures shall be effective from 1 January 2023 and valid until 31 December 2025.
