On 17 May 2023, the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Zhuhai Municipality issued the "Interim Measures for Supporting Deep-Sea Aquaculture and Offshore Fishing in Zhuhai Municipality" (“the Measures”). The Measures aim to establish a sea product trading center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (“the Greater Bay Area”), including support for the construction of ultra-low temperature cold storage facilities for aquatic products. Enterprises that invest in the construction of ultra-low temperature cold storage facilities in Zhuhai Municipality with a single project capacity of over 2,500 cubic meters will receive a subsidy of no more than 10% of the total investment, with a maximum of RMB 20 million. The Measures are effective from 18 June 2023 and will be valid for three years.
