The Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Nansha District of the Guangzhou Municipality and the Ministry of Finance of Nansha District of the Guangzhou Municipality (“the authorities”) issued the “Notice in relation to the Administrative Measures for the Use of Employment Subsidy Fund in Nansha District of the Guangzhou Municipality” on 24 May 2023. The authorities announced that these measures are formulated to promote employment and entrepreneurship in Nansha District, strengthen the administrative measures for the use of employment subsidy fund, which includes subsidy fund provided for specialized career fair event in Hong Kong and Macao, carrying out virtual career fair event will be provided with a one-time, no more than RMB5,000 subsidy per event. Carrying out in-person career fair event will be provided with a one-time, no more than RMB30,000 subsidy per event. These measures shall be effective from 5 June 2023 and will be valid until 31 December 2025.
