On 27 June 2023, the General Affairs Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province issued the “Three- year Action Plan for Optimizing Business Environment in the Guangdong Province” (“the Plan”). The Plan specified the goal of creating an open environment for win-win cooperation, and proposed to promote the direct receipt of imported goods and direct shipment of exported goods at port, expand the catalogue of drugs and medical devices applicable to the “Measure of Using HK Registered Drugs and Medical Devices Used in HK Public Hospitals in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, and lastly deepen the mechanism reform of partnership and joint ventures between the Mainland and Hong Kong (Macao) law firms.
