The Port Office of the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government (“the authorities”) issued the “Several Measures in relation to Further Optimize the Clearance Environment and Improve Clearance Facilitation at the Shenzhen Land Ports” (“the Measures”) on 8 August 2023. The authorities announced a series of measures to further optimize and enhance the environment, convenience, and experience of passenger clearance. Measures include improving facilitative services at the ports, benchmarking first-class service standards, and promoting the establishment of facilitative service locations at the ports and optimizing passenger clearance flow and the establishment of temporary facilitative financial services locations at the ports.
