On 10 August 2023, the Science and Technology Bureau of Nansha District of Guangzhou Municipality issued the “Administrative Measures for Budget Management of Science and Technology Program of Nansha District in Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Measures”). The project budget of Science and Technology Program of Nansha District of Guangzhou Municipality refer to the budget for science and technology programs which are approved by administrative department of science and technology and supported by competitive and directional organizations. The Measures proposed that for the science and technology projects jointly undertaken by higher education institutions or research institutes in Guangzhou Municipality and Hong Kong or Macao, fiscal support can be appropriated and wired to higher education institutions or research institutes in Hong Kong or Macao according to respective scientific research tasks. The Measures will be implemented from 15 August 2023 and will be valid for 5 years.
