On 10 August 2023, the Science and Technology Bureau of Nansha District of Guangzhou Municipality issued the “Administrative Measures for Science and Technology Projects in the Nansha District of Guangzhou Municipality” (“the Measures”). The science and technology program refer to the science and technology development strategy and innovation planning of Nansha District, including competitive projects and directional projects. The applicants for competitive projects shall be independent legal person status registered within the administrative region of Nansha District, or a medical and health institution with actual operation in Nansha District, or a relevant institution in Hong Kong or Macao and the applicant, the cooperation institution, or the person in charge of the project is not under disciplinary period for violation of science and technology regulations or dishonesty in scientific research. The Measures will be implemented from 15 August 2023 and remain valid for 5 years.
