On 16 August 2023, the Office of the People's Government of Foshan issued the “Implementation Measures for Promoting High-Quality Development of Investment Opportunities in Foshan” (“the Implementation Measures”). The Implementation Measures encouraged enterprises to integrate laboratories, production bases, sales services and other aspects of the relevant projects to set up headquarters of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Foshan, and to support global multinational companies to increase their investment capital and set up headquarters of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in Foshan.
