On 23 August 2023, the Bureau of Justice of Zhaoqing and the Lawyer Association of Zhaoqing issued the “Several Measures for the High-Quality Development of Legal Industry Services in Zhaoqing”. The Measures supported to promote the integration of legal services in the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area (“the Greater Bay Area”), which includes strengthening exchange and cooperation of legal service industry in the Greater Bay Area, promoting the integration of legal services in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao and the active participation in the joint meeting and strengthening the work connectivity of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Lawyers Association. In addition, the Measures supported to promote the development of foreign-related legal services, specifically including supporting the foreign-related legal service platform for cooperation between local law firms in Zhaoqing and overseas law firms.
