On 9 October 2023, the Office of the Guangzhou Nansha District Administrative Committee and the Office of the People’s Government of Guangzhou Nansha District issued the “Various Measures for Promoting the Cluster Development of Professional Finance and Taxation Service in the Guangzhou Nansha New District (Free Trade Zone)” (“the Measures”). The Measures specified that a one-off operational support of RMB400,000 will be provided to Hong Kong, Macao or international finance and taxation professional services associations for establishing offices in Nansha District. The Measures also support the cooperation and financing activities among Guangzhou Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Guangzhou Institute of Certified Tax Agents and institute of accountants and taxation from Hong Kong and Macao. The Measures will be implemented from 9 October 2023 and will be valid for 5 years.
